Where it started

Lucas grew up in the water in Dana Point, surfing contests since 2009 and captaining the Dana Hills High School surf team for four years. The road trips, contest days and early sessions that shaped him are the same ones he now guides his athletes through.

Safety First

Comfortable in all conditions

On March 15, 2026, during a surf contest in Oceanside, Lucas jumped into the ocean fully clothed and brought a 6-year-old girl and her father safely back to shore from a rip current.
